Yay, sketches, done on Manga Studio though. X3 Felt like drawing a semi-realistic Gaara and Hinata. Rather happy with this. Reminds me of my old style, but much better.

Got inspired when I read a fanfic describing Gaara meeting up with Hinata many years after he's become Kazekage and Hinata noticing how tired he looks. That just made me go "awww! ;o;"

And so I had to draw an adult Gaara, looking handsome and then his eye looking tired but still sharp. XD And then I had to draw an observant and very pretty hinata.

May it be known that i hate bangs, least the straight cut ones like Hinata's. I can never get them right or look nice. But slowly but surly, by continuing to draw Hinata, I'm getting the hang of them. So I'm very happy with how Hinata turned out here. And yes I had to draw the crying emo Hinata as well.

As for that middle pic...THEY'RE FRIENDS I SWEAR! He is NOT going to kiss her. Yes, I know Hinata looks like she wants to be kissed, but no! She just finished crying, see! I come up with little stories inside my head as I'm drawing. Anyone else do that?

Here Gaara and Hinata have become very close, with Gaara offering her some words of encouragement in dealing with Naruto. Lord knows Hinata needs patience when dealing with the blond boy. ANd yes, I made Gaara touchy-feely. BLASPHEMY! You may all hang me now. I give you permission, only because in my little world here, Gaara has a secret cookie crush on Hinata. Alas, poor boy, can't win even with the pointy Kage hat. XD;

But to show that I haven't completely destroyed Gaara's character I also drew him looking scary. Well...as scary as JB can draw a guy looking. I'm still pleased with how he turned out, I think this one's my most realistic of all. The difficulty with Gaara is putting expression on him. He has no eyebrows! Eyebrows are how I express emotion! So wrinkles on his brow and angle of his eyes will have to do.

Speaking of emotion, YES, I can draw EMO!Gaara as well. Tis kinda embarrassing how emo/dramatic he looks here, but I figured if Hinata will look emo crying, than Gaara shall look super grief stricken as possible. Be grateful I didn't draw him crying. THAT would've been embarrassing. XD

I dunno, you can also look at it as if he's got a headache. He tended to get those a lot. XD;

Next to emo!gaara, I drew a curious Gaara with a neutral Hinata. Again, his lack of eyebrows make me wanna hurt him. So hard to express any kind of emotion. I ended up with a slightly humorous expression on his face here. I like his hair the best here. He's kinda cute. Not very gaara-ish though...

ah, almost forgot, WINDSWEPT!Hinata! couldnt' resist. So happy she has long hair now. I'm rather pleased with how her face turned out at that angle. I'm still working on her neck, but I'm happy with her face.

I'm not sure if I will ever color them...but *sighs* I just felt I had to draw them.

I've noticed something interesting about gaahina fanfics. X3 People never put Naruto in them. It's either Hinata got her heart broken by him or she gave up on him, or she was sent to Suna without confessing her feelings to him, and THEN she gets with Gaara and later falls in love with him.

or Gaara finds her and its as if Naruto never existed. *sweatdrop*

HELLO! How is it that people have not touched on this? I'd like to see a little demon-host rivalry play. I think it'd be cute. XD; If the sasuhina fanfics touch on sasuke competing with (sometimes oblivious) Naruto, why not the gaahina fanfics? No one ever writes gaara competing with Naruto. Like they're afraid to put these two at odds or something. That'd make for a pretty interesting read if you ask me. The two future kages fighting over the hyuga princess! Woot! there's a konoha special inquirer's headline. XD;

alright, I'll shut up now. If I wasn't already working on my RK and Shaman King fanfics, I'd go and write me a gaahina like this, but no. sorry. I'll just sketch up stuff.
