RIght! So SL-chan wanted me to draw the RK characters in real style.

Well, I tried, but I gotta say Kenshin continues to be the most difficult character to do. (next to Megumi...) I'm beginning to think it has to do with him being the lead character of the series.

I have the same problem when trying to draw Naruto...I just can't. XD;;

So, I tried drawing Kenshin as this uh...very pretty baby-faced man. He's 28, but is supposed to look like a teenager...right. O_o;

My older brother looks much younger than he is (but is very tall) and I figured its cuz he's sorta got a babyface. So I tried giving Kenshin a baby face. Which sorta but not quite makes him look feminine. hm, but that's not a problem either since he is sorta girly looking.

but hey! I think his "battousai"-ish look is okay...I like this look better. But I can't help but think I've seen this face somewhere else...*sighs* I get the feeling I draw all my male angry faces the same. TT;;

I kept working at it, but I finally got Kaoru to look the way I sorta wanted her to look. For some reason she's always been a difficult character for me. Like I JUST CANT' MAKE PRETTY! She always look typical to me. But finally after much re-working on her profile, I finally got her to look like a beautiful teenager. (whenever I've had to drawn her, she always starts out looking like an older woman...O_O)

and Yahiko's hair always gives me trouble. I can only see his hairstyle happening if there's was an abundance of hairgel back in the Meiji era. But since there wasn't, his hair will just have LOTS of volume. hm, not sure if it looks like Yahiko. His eyes are soo black. O_o

Squee, Misao is LOVE. Always will be. She's the most fun and easy to draw for me. I wanted her to look very young, mischievious, but still pretty. Ya know, that natural kinda pretty.

Kaoru here came out easy for once, probably cuz Misao gave me an idea of how to proceed with her. She's very pretty, but very girly and innocent. lol, I should've done an Angry Kaoru...totally forgot to.

And Megumi as usual, is really hard for me. I've only ONCE been able to draw her looking very pretty. Okay, actually twice...but still, drawing her is tough. Hm, maybe I should upload those sketches of her. They're scenes from my fanfic though...*cringes* ah, but they're still anime style...

I think its cuz of her hairstyle and her older woman features. I'm sorry folks! But if you got a thin face or mature face, DONT' WEAR YOUR HAIR LIKE THAT! I'm having Cherl flashbacks.

I think this hairstyle looks best with young or round faces. Like Hinata! XD That's just my preference. I'm not a hairstylist so dont' take my word. Drawing her anime-ish is easy, but drawing her realistic and still make her out to be this GORGEOUS sexy woman who is 20 (or something), is REALLY tough.

In the end, she turned out looking more Asian than any of the other characters.

But yes, it was a pain to make her look older than Kaoru. *sighs* dunno, I just can't win.

Correction...SANO is the most difficult character for me to draw. His face/hairstyle/bandana thing just kill me. I can't draw him even in anime-form. Dunno, why. And no, I will not draw him. Don't EVEN ASK! Mental/Artistic Block when it comes to Sano. DON'T BOTHER ME BOUT IT!
