The background was inspired by a picture called "Bring out the Stars". I was tempted to call it Dannyx2 (alluding to DP's Peace sign here), but this title works better. XD;

Woohoo! Finally got to draw Danny Fenton and Danny Phantom. I'm rather pleased with this one regardless of its simplicity.

And yeah I know Danny Fenton looks a bit girly/androgynous, but hey, it works! You would never think this pretty boy's a superhero. I felt like drawing the two sides of Danny, one with his black hair sorta silky and falling, and the other with his white hair semi spiky and wild. XD I blame it on my love of Enishi Yukishiro (from Rurouni Kenshin) and his white spiky wild hair. XD

I'm still experimenting with this style of doing eyes. Not so sure if I was successful or not. But I like doing eerily bright eyes. And since Danny's got a supernatural side to him, I couldn't avoid doing it here. Coloring his skin this way is actually not new for me. I drew a character like this once when I was experimenting a long time ago (I think the pics in my gallery...), and I had been hoping to do it again but never had the chance to. Until now, so I'm happy.

I'm just glad to be done with the picture. One of the first pics I've done this year with which I'm truly satisfied. (or maybe the first in a long time, period.) I drew this picture on Open Canvas last week and colored it throughout the week. Overall I think I spent little time on it, compared to my previous works.

What can I say? I was very inspired. I had been reading a lot of DP fanfics recently. Finally found some good ones. One of them ended this weekend, but I'm still waiting on another one. Squee, had to do Danny at some point. I hope you guys like!
